CM Natural Energy Ltd. pride themselves in being green, using an Endurance Turbine to harness wind power and coupling this to a Lampossa Ground-source Heat pump they produce power and heat for Calton Moor House Farm, Airfield and Holiday Complex. The system works well and does exactly what the suppliers claimed, thanks go to LessCO2 (Turbines) and Finn Geotherm (Heat pumps). Also helping out especially on the non windy days are Solar PV panels supplied by ACS renewable solutions.
The GREEN quest started in 1997 when Calton Moor House Farm received their Organic Certification from the Soil Association, even back then all the farms roof water was stored ready for re-use. Our holiday complex received the 2014 Cottages4You Green Award from the Wyndham Exchange group. Opening soon will be the Olde Arch House and new Leisure Barn, both will have underfloor heating and L.E.D. lighting.
